Wild blown out
(St. Paul, MN) — The Edmonton Oilers scored multiple goals in each period during a 7-1 win over the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center. Zach Hyman scored the game’s first goal seven minutes into the first period, and the Oilers held a lead the rest of the way. Kasperi Kapanen, Connor Brown, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Leon Draisaitl, Troy Stecher, and Derek Ryan all lit the lamp in the blowout. Edmonton is on a four-game winning streak. Freddy Gaudreau scored Minnesota’s only goal. The Wild have dropped two of three and will host Philadelphia tomorrow at 1 P-M.
