Wild close out Regular Season with a win

(St. Paul, MN/Learfield News) — Minnesota’s Hunter Haight, Danila Yurov and Robby Fabbri all scored as the Wild beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in the regular season finale last night at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul. For the second consecutive game, head coach John Hynes elected to sit 10 regulars from the line up making way for some young faces to get another game at the end of the season. Haight’s goal was his first in the N-H-L in just his ninth game and Fabbri’s was his first with the Wild. Jesper Wallstedt continued his solid play down the stretch with 34 saves. The Wild finished the regular season with a 46-25-12 record and 104 points. Next up: the Stanley Cup Playoffs starting this weekend in Dallas.
