Wild Drop 2nd Straight
The Wild returned to home ice for the first time in a month but fell to the last place Blues 3-1. Kirill Kaprizov started the scoring with his 34th of the season to give the Wild a 1-0 lead in the second period on the power play. But the Blues scored the next three to hand Minnesota a second straight loss. Filip Gustavsson suffered his first loss in regulation on home ice since November 1st. He was 10-0-5 in his last 15 starts at Grand Casino Arena. The Blues won on the road for the first time since December 20th stopping a 10 game road losing streak. Kaprizov’s goal was the 219th of his N-H-L career tying him with Marian Gaborik for the most in franchise history. The Wild host the Lightning at 8:30 P-M on Tuesday night.
