Empowering Communities, Celebrating Minnesota Locally

Wild Fall at Home

The Senators scored three straight goals as they handed the Wild a 3-1 loss on Sunday night at Xcel Energy Center. Freddy Gaudreau started the scoring for Minnesota with his seventh goal of the season late in the first period. But the Sens responded with the next three goals including the winner on the power play by Josh Norris midway through the third. That stopped the Wild’s two game win streak as the Senators won for the first time in St. Paul since 2016. Filip Gustavsson suffered the loss on 33 saves. The Wild are back home on New Years Eve when they host the Predators at 7 P-M. Coverage on KNUJ begins at 6:45pm.
