Wild Fall To Jets

Former Wild forward Nino Niederreiter scored midway through the second to put the Jets on top for good as they beat the Wild 4-1 on Monday night in St. Paul. Jake Middleton opened the scoring for the Wild but the next four goals went to the Jets as they beat the Wild for the seventh straight time. Minnesota outshot Winnipeg 22-1 in the first period and 44-31 on the game but Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was up to the challenge with 43 saves for his 15th win on the season. The Wild lost for just the fourth time this season in regulation but are just 4-3-1 on home ice. They’re in Buffalo at 6 P-M on Wednesday night. Coverage begins at 5:45pm on KNUJ.
