Wild lose in OT to New York
(New York, NY) — New York’s Vincent Trocheck scored 24-seconds into overtime as the Rangers beat the Wild 5-4 last night at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Gustav Nysquist, Brock Faber, Marcus Johansson and Marco Rossi scored for Minnesota as they fall to 0-0-2 in the first two games of their three game road trip. The Wild have lost three straight past regulation including both games on the trip. They also fell to the Devils via a shootout on Monday in New Jersey. The Wild do gain a point though and now have the exact same record as the Blues at 41-28-7 and 89 points. Minnesota holds down the first Wild Card spot though via tie breaker. The road trip concludes tomorrow night against the Islanders at 6:30 P-M.
