Wild lose key draft voice
The Minnesota Wild have an offseason hole to fill in their scouting department. Judd Brackett, the team’s director of amateur scouting, has left the organization to join the Toronto Maple Leafs as an assistant general manager. Brackett had been viewed as one of Minnesota’s key draft voices, so the move comes at a notable time, with the NHL Draft approaching and the Wild already without a first-round pick in 2026. Minnesota has also created a new director of goaltending role, hiring Sylvain Rodrigue to oversee development plans across the organization’s goalie pipeline.
