Wild Nip the Blackhawks

(St. Paul, MN) — Brock Faber and Marcus Foligno scored third period goals as the Wild skated past the Blackhawks 4-3 on Monday night in St. Paul. Kirill Kaprizov scored his 23rd of the season to tie the game 1-1 in the first then Jared Spurgeon tied the game 2-2 in the second with his fourth of the year. Filip Gustavsson returned to the ice after missing five games with injury and made 28 saves for his 15th win of the season. The victory stops a four game losing streak. The Wild and the N-H-L are off for three days for the holiday break. Minnesota returns to action on Friday night when they face the Stars in Dallas at 7 P-M.
