Wild Re-Sign McCarron
The Minnesota Wild inked forward Michael McCarron to a six-year, $20 million contract on Tuesday to keep him in a Wild uniform through the 2031-32 season. McCarron was traded to the Wild from Nashville in March of last season and scored five points in 20 games in Minnesota and added another two goals and four points in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. McCarron has 381 games of N-H-L experience with Montreal, Nashville, and Minnesota and has 36 goals, 79 points, and 515 minutes in penalties. McCarron was originally selected by Montreal in the first round (No. 25 overall) of the 2013 N-H-L Draft.
