Wild sweep season series from Kraken
(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild scored four straight goals on their way to a 5-2 win over the Kraken on Tuesday night in St. Paul. Minnesota was down 2-1 after one period before they scored four straight over the final 40 minutes to bury the Kraken. Marcus Foligno and Vladimir Tarasneko scored in the second period followed by Marcus Johansson and Joel Eriksson Ek in the third to cap the scoring. Matt Boldy also got on the board as the Wild won their fourth straight to stay two points back of the Dallas Stars in the Central Division. The Stars beat the Flames in overtime on Tuesday night to move to 104 points, two in front of the Wild. Whoever finishes in second place in the Central will get home ice advantage in their first-round matchup that starts later this month. The Wild lead the season series with the Stars 2-1-0. Minnesota won both games in St. Paul while the Stars won the only match up in Dallas. Wild and Stars face off at 8 P-M on Thursday night from American Airlines Center.
