Wild Win 4th Straight

Kirill Kaprizov scored his ninth career overtime game winner as the Wild beat the Canucks 3-2 in O-T on Tuesday night in St. Paul. The Wild twice trailed in the hockey game but twice rallied with goals by Freddy Gaudreau in the second period to make it 1-1 and then again to open the third to tie the game 2-2 on Jake Middleton’s fifth of the year. Then Kaprizov finished off a play set up by Marco Rossi to deliver his 16th goal of the season and a fourth straight win for the first place Minnesota Wild. FIlip Gustavsson made 30 saves in the win including 16 in the third period. The Wild start a three game road trip on Friday when they face the Ducks at 9 P-M from Honda Center.
