Wild win in Denver
(Denver, CO) — The Wild scored two goals in 95 second to open the third period as they skated past the Avalanche 3-1 on Monday afternoon in Denver. Yakov Trenin put the Wild up 2-1 just 2:08 into the third period with his fourth of the season and that was followed by Brock Faber’s sixth to give Minnesota some breathing room. Goaltender Marc Andre Fleury made 16 of his 26 saves in the third period to get the win and stop the Wild losing streak at three. The Wild are home on Thursday against Utah at 7 P-M.
