Wild win in OT

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild have the most points in the N-H-L following a 3-2 overtime win against the Vancouver Canucks at the Xcel Energy Center last night. Jake Middleton knocked in the game-tying goal in the third period of the game before Kirill Kaprizov lit the lamp in the final 30-seconds of overtime to give Minnesota the win. Freddy Gaudreau also scored in the victory. Filip Gustavsson made 30 saves in the win including 16 in the third period. The Wild have won four in a row. They’re in first place in the Central Division with 38 wins and a 17-4-and-4 record. The Wild visit Anaheim on Friday.
