Wild Wrap Up Homestand

The Minnesota Wild will finish off their three game homestand tonight when they face the Vancouver Canucks. Already the Wild have taken each of the first two games with back to back wins over the Blackhawks and Predators over the weekend. That’s three straight wins overall for a Wild team that’s won 15 of their last 20 and are at the top of the Central Division with a 16-4-4 record. Over the weekend they also completed a trade that brought defenseman David Jiricek (URR-uh-CHECK) to Minnesota and he skated with the team for the first time yesterday at TRIA Rink. Head coach John Hynes says he will give Jiricek a chance to get acclimated to his new surroundings before he makes his Wild debut. The Wild and Canucks face off at 7 P-M tonight at Xcel Energy Center. Catch all the action on KNUJ, beginning at 6;45pm.
