Willmar Man Pleads Guilty in Drive-by Shooting

A Willmar man will be sentenced September 8th after pleading guilty in a drive-by shooting case.

Twenty-year-old Elijah Marino Ridener pleaded guilty July 30th to aiding and abetting a drive-by shooting of an occupied residence.

In exchange for his plea, nine other charges will be dismissed.

Police say nine to ten shots were fired into a home on East Litchfield Avenue March 24th.

Eight people were inside at the time, but no one was injured.

Ridener’s co-defendant, 20-year-old Mario Galvan of Willmar, pleaded guilty to drive-by shooting last month. He is scheduled to be sentenced September 17th.
