Winter Storm Warnings & Weather Advisories Continue for Northern, Central MN

(Learfield News/Chanhassen, MN) — Northern and northwestern Minnesota are under a winter storm warning through 7 p-m today (Wed) and a winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of western and central Minnesota.

A few inches of wet snow already fell in places like Willmar, Red Wing, Hackensack, Isanti, and the Twin Cities.

Forecasters say the warning area could see up to eight inches by this evening.

Some areas in the southern half of the state are expected to receive rain today.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to 41 crashes and 41 vehicles off the road between noon and 8:30 Tuesday night.
