Wolves beaten by Lakers
(Los Angeles, CA/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves fell 120–106 to the Los Angeles Lakers to start their road trip with a thud. It was a game that was tied 45-45 at the half but the Lakers pulled away with a big third quarter in particular to hand the T-Wolves their second straight loss. Luka Doncic had 31 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds for his seventh triple-double of the season and the 89th of his career. Anthony Edwards was just 2-of-15 from the field and finished with 14 points. Julius Randle also had 14 points in the loss. T-Wolves have fallen to fifth place in the Western Conference. They’ll head across town and face the Clippers tonight for a 9:30 P-M tip at Intuit Dome.
