Wolves blown out in Game 2
(San Antonio, TX/Learfield News) — The Minnesota Timberwolves got blown out in Game Two of their best-of-seven N-B-A Western Conference Semifinal series 133-95 in San Antonio last night. The Spurs led by as many as 47 points in the victory, which tied the series at 1-1. Seven San Antonio players scored in double figures, led by Stephon Castle’s 21 points. Victor Wembanyama had a 19-point, 15-rebound double-double. Minnesota had three players score 12 points to lead the way. Those three were Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle, and Anthony Edwards. The Wolves had 22 turnovers and shot just 30-percent from three-point range. The 38-point loss was the worst defeat in franchise history for Minnesota. Game Three shifts to Minneapolis tomorrow night at 8:30 P-M at the Target Center.
