Wolves fall short in Memphis

(Memphis, TN) — Jaren Jackson, Jr. had 24 points as the Grizzlies held off the Timberwolves 108-106 on Monday afternoon in Memphis. Anthony Edwards had a chance to win in at the buzzer but his three-point shot missed the mark and the Wolves suffer the loss. Edwards had 32 points and Naz Reid added 29 as the Timberwolves drop their second straight and fall to 22-21 on the season. The Wolves are in Dallas on Wednesday at 6:30 P-M. In other Wolves news, guard Donte DiVincenzo, who suffered a left great toe injury on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the end of the Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors game, had an M-R-I that revealed a Grade 3 left great toe sprain and is out indefinitely.
