Wolves get first win of season
(Sacramento, CA) — The Minnesota Timberwolves picked up their first victory of the season with a thrilling 117-115 win over the Sacramento Kings at Golden One Center. Anthony Edwards knocked down a pair of free throws with two seconds left in regulation before Keegan Murray missed a game-winning three at the buzzer. Julius Randle poured in 33 points in the victory, while Edwards chipped in with 32. The Timberwolves are 1-1. DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points in the losing effort, while Domantas Sabonis finished with 24. The Kings are 0-1. Minnesota will host the Raptors tomorrow night in the home opener for the Timberwolves at the Target Center.
