Wolves Lose To Denver, Trail 3 to 2

Denver star center Nikola Jokic (YO-kitch) led the Nuggets to their third-straight takedown of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the N-B-A’s Western Conference semifinals last night in Colorado. Denver defeated Minnesota 112-97 in Game Five to take a three-games-to-two lead in the best-of-seven series. Jokic led the charge with 40 points, 13 assists, seven rebounds, two steals and a block. He became just the second player in N-B-A postseason history to record 40 points, 10 assists and zero turnovers in a game. Game Six will be played in Minneapolis tomorrow night at 7:30 P-M at the Target Center.
