Wolves Make Trades, Don’t Add Players On Day Two Of Draft
(Brooklyn, NY) — The Minnesota Timberwolves ended up not making a pick in the second round of the NBA Draft Thursday.
Minnesota began the day by trading Wendell Moore Jr. and pick 37 to the Detroit Pistons for pick 53.
The Timberwolves traded back to 57 and then traded out of the second round altogether.
Trade compensation for the two last trade-backs has not been announced.
Moore averaged under a point per game in his 25 appearances with Minnesota last season.
Minnesota added first-rounders Rob Dillingham and Terrance Shannon, Junior on Wednesday night.
