Wolves open up season tonight
(Los Angeles, CA) — The Minnesota Timberwolves begin the quest for their first N-B-A Championship when they open the regular season against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in California. The Timberwolves are coming off of a 56-26 season that saw them lose to the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. Minnesota traded All-Star forward Karl-Anthony Towns during the offseason, but added Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, and Joe Ingles. The Lakers were 47-35 last season. They were eliminated in the postseason during the first round. Tonight’s game tips off at 9 P-M.
