Wolves open up Summer League with a win

The Minnesota Timberwolves started Las Vegas Summer League play with a 105-92 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. Zyon Pullin had a big afternoon, finishing with 24 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds, while Joan Beringer posted 18 points and 12 boards. It was a promising opening look for a Wolves team evaluating young frontcourt depth after offseason roster changes. Minnesota’s next Summer League test comes against Denver.
