Wolves Snap Skid, Beat Clippers
The Timberwolves stopped a four-game losing streak with a 93-92 win over the Clippers on Friday night at Target Center. Anthony Edwards led the Wolves with 21 points. Minnesota trailed 90-87 with 4:10 to play after the Clippers went on a 10-0 run. The Wolves responded with a 6-0 run, with all six points coming from Edwards, to take a 93-90 lead, and they held on for the win. This game was part of the N-B-A Cup competition, and was the final game of group play for Minnesota. The Wolves went 2-2 in group play. Their record overall on the season is 9-10. Next up for Minnesota is a home game on Monday night against the Lakers.
