Wolves take 2-1 Series lead over Denver

(Minneapolis, MN/Learfield News) — The Minnesota Timberwolves have their first series lead in the first round of the 2026 N-B-A Playoffs. The Wolves beat the Nuggets 113-96 in Game Three last night at the Target Center. Minnesota never trailed during the victory and led by as many as 27 points in the third quarter. Ayo Dosunmu led the way with 25 points off the bench, while Jaden McDaniels finished with 20 points and ten rebounds. Center Rudy Gobert had a ten-point, 12-rebound double-double. Denver star Nikola Jokic scored 27 points to pace Denver. The Nuggets show just 34-percent from the floor. Minnesota leads the best-of-seven series 2-1. Game Four is in Minneapolis tomorrow night at 7:30 P-M.
