Wolves trade KAT to Knicks
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves made a blockbuster move over the weekend. The Wolves traded four-time All-Star forward Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks in exchange for forward Julius Randle, guard Donte DiVincenzo, and a protected first-round pick. Minnesota picked Towns with its first-overall pick in 2015, and he spent the last nine seasons with the T-Wolves. Randle averaged 24 points, nine-point-two rebounds, and five assists per game last season, while DiVincenzo shot over 40-percent from beyond the arc. The Wolves begin preseason play this Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
