Wolves win 5th straight
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves won a fifth straight game with a 115-107 home win over Toronto last night. The Wolves outscored the Raptors 35-22 in the third quarter, helping them notch the win. Anthony Edwards led a balanced scoring attack for Minnesota with a team-high 22 points. Center Rudy Gobert netted 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Julius Randle chipped in with 17 points. The victory pushes the Wolves record to 40-23 and keeps them in fourth-place in the N-B-A Western Conference. Toronto was led by R-J Barrett’s 25 points and dropped to 35-27 on the year. The Wolves host Orlando at 2 P-M tomorrow at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.
