Wolves win in Brooklyn
(Brooklyn, NY) — The Minnesota Timberwolves stayed hot with a 105-90 win over the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center last night. Minnesota led by as many as 18 points in the victory. Rudy Gobert scored 21 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, while Anthony Edwards had a game-high 28 points. The Wolves are on a four-game winning streak and improved to 45-32 on the season. Minnesota actually slipped one spot in the standings despite winning last night, as Memphis also won last night and moved from eighth to sixth in the N-B-A Western Conference chase due to tie breakers. Nic Claxton had 18 points in the losing effort for the Nets, have dropped seven of nine and are 25-52. The Wolves are at Philadelphia tomorrow night.
