Wolves win in Texas
(San Antonio, TX) — The Minnesota Timberwolves led throughout the final three quarters of their 106-92 win over the San Antonio Spurs at Frost Bank Center last night in Texas. The Wolves were up by as many as 23 points during the victory and trailed only a few times early. Minnesota star guard Anthony Edwards poured in 26 points during the victory, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker chipped in with 17 points off the bench. Minnesota has won six of seven, improving to 14-11 on the season. Victor Wembanyama had 20 points, 12 rebounds, and seven blocks during the losing effort. The Spurs have dropped four of six and dipped to 13-13. The Wolves host the New York Knicks on Thursday at 8:30 P-M.
