Woman Arrested for Possession/Meth Crimes Involving Child

A 41-year-old woman from Gibbon was arrested after a search warrant was executed and investigators discovered evidence that methamphetamine use was occurring inside the home and a 4-year-old child was potentially being exposed to the drug use.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation began in late March.

The Sheriff’s Office says during a search of the home on April 17, 23.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located along with various items of paraphernalia.

The 41-year-old woman was arrested and is facing possible charges that include felony 3rd-degree possession of a controlled substance and felony methamphetamine crimes involving a child.
