Woman Sentenced in Fatal Overdose of Litchfield Man

(Learfield News/Litchfield, MN) — A woman from Shakopee was sentenced to 11 years in prison for selling a fatal dose of drugs to a man from Litchfield during the summer of 2023.

A Meeker County judge sentenced 27-year-old Jaimee Nichole Traylor to 132 months at the women’s prison in Shakopee after a jury found her guilty of third-degree murder last September.

The 60-year-old victim died from toxicity caused by fentanyl, methamphetamine, and xylazine. He believed he was buying cocaine.
