Worker Injured at Job Site in Meeker Co

A man was injured on a job site in Meeker County Thursday evening north of Belle Lake.

The Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Peter Mollema of Slayton was conducting fiber optic work when he fell into a pit and landed on a grounding rod, which impaled his leg.

He was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
