Worlds #1 Golfer commits to Minnesota Tournament
(Blaine, MN/Learfield News) — The top-ranked golfer in the world will play in Minnesota’s P-G-A Tour event in July. Scottie Scheffler has committed to the 3-M Open, giving a boost to the state’s marquee golf event. Scheffler has never played in the 3-M Open before. Scheffler has 20 career P-G-A Tour victories, including last year’s P-G-A Championship and Open Championship. He has also won the Masters twice. Scheffler has been ranked the number-one golfer in the world for the past 155 weeks. The 3-M Open will run from July 23-26 at the T-P-C Twin Cities course in Blaine.
