Yankees Win Seventh Straight
The New York Yankees extended their current winning streak to seven games after rolling past the Minnesota Twins 9-5 last night in the Bronx. The Yanks are now 6-0 against the Twins this season. Carlos Rodon earned the victory after striking out nine batters and allowing two runs over six innings. He took a perfect game into the sixth inning. Chris Paddack was tagged with the loss after allowing seven runs on six hits over four innings of work. Carlos Santana and Royce Lewis each went deep for Minnesota, which is now 33-28. Game three of the three-game series is tonight in New York.
