NEW ULM PURPLE PLACES SECOND IN STATE KNOWLEDGE BOWL

TROUT SEASON OPENS SATURDAY, AREA WATERWAYS STOCKED

The stream trout season opens this weekend in Minnesota.  The DNR’s Dean Paron says Minnesota has 3800 miles of designated trout fishing streams.  Over 5,000 rainbow trout were stocked into the St. Peter trout ponds in April with 1500 getting stocked Thursday.  That area is considered a “put and take” area meaning the water is […]
